As I sat in church today, listening to a sermon on suffering, over and over was reminded of a comment in a movie I watched about masochistic values in Christianity. I think there is truth to this. And so I ask my readers:
What are the implications (both the problematic ones and the helpful ones) of acknowledging a connection between Masochism and Christianity (or vice versa)?
